God gave me a vision and a mission
Our story began in 1988 when our daughter started experiencing severe migraines at the age of 15. Doctors prescribed opioids as if they were candy, and by the age of 22, she was addicted.
At the age of 29, our daughter could no longer obtain legal medication for her migraines, and a so-called ‘friend’ introduced her to heroin, which quickly became her drug of choice.
Many people often ask, ‘Why a sweatshirt?’
In 2013, while lying in bed, God gave me a crystal-clear vision—within one hour—to create a sweatshirt that would speak HOPE to the brokenhearted.

We discovered something profound: many people who are hurting—those carrying the weight of past trauma, physical and sexual abuse, abandonment, estrangement, or addiction—often wear a hoodie to hide—their pain, their shame, and their past. That’s when we realized that our sweatshirts weren’t just clothing—they were a message. A message that could wrap someone in HOPE, physically and spiritually. The letters in the word HOPE are broken. This design isn't by accident. It’s intentional. The vision God gave me was that each letter should appear fractured and imperfect. This reflects our world and our lives—broken by pain, sin, doubt, and suffering. |
